What is the principle behind chiropractic care?

Our nervous system is bombarded by million of impulses controlling every cell of our body. These impulses (messages) travel over a transmission system called the spinal cord and spinal nerves. The spinal cord, protected by the spine, connects the brain with every spinal nerve exiting from the spine. Chiropractic care is geared towards detecting irritation or pressure to this nervous system caused by abnormal alignment of the spinal vertebrae.

The graduated doctor is able to be a primary contact practitioner able to establish his own diagnosis in order to prescribe the best suitable treatment to his patients.

How long will treatments last?

Nobody knows, not even your chiropractor! Many factors influence a treatment, such as: the severity of the problem, general health condition, age, medical history of the patient (surgery, accident, and medication) and your cooperation in following the treatment protocol.

Do we see results right away?

Should I inform my medical doctor if I am under chiropractic care?

Doctors of chiropractic are primary contact practitioners, meaning that you don’t need a recommendation to consult them. Many G.P. do recommend patients to our office and we provide them with a report from our analysis.

The doctor will give you personal recommendations at the beginning of your care.
